A Missing Side Dish in the US

Poutine. Why can’t we get it here? It’s practically the national side dish of our neighbor Canada, available everywhere from BK tpoutineo DQ to fancy pants restaurants, but just try and find it in the US!

What exactly is poutine? Fries with brown gravy and cheese curds. I’ve had a great one in Hong Kong, fabulous ones in Canada, but come up dry in the U.S. Check out this diner’s experience in scarfing 12 different poutines in 12 days! (this is her photo, as well).
